Nature-scape pools and natural pools.
Looking to add a pool to your backyard this year? Consider a natural pool, or a nature scaped pool.
What are they?
Nature-scape and natural pools look the same, but each function in different ways. Both, by design, are made to look “more natural”. They are designed and built to match the natural landscape. Think of them as your own private swimming hole, one that you designed!
Which one is right for you?
Both, depending on the design and size, will cost about as much, or a little lower than a typical cement pool. Both will typically be lined with rubber or a reinforced polyethylene. With endless possibilities with design, the choice of which one is right for you comes down to maintenance and preference.
Natural Pools.
Natural pools are more eco-friendly. They rely on a “living system” to take care of itself. Even with a chlorinated pool, nature will get in there, but a natural pool, if properly designed, nature will take care of itself and keep your water clean, clear and chemical free. Plants and other aquatic vegetation are kept in a separate zone where they provide a biological filter. Adding the movement of water helps with the aeration.
Nature Scape Pools.
To some, they’re the best of both worlds. All of the ambiance of a natural pool, but they require either ozone or chlorine to keep them clean. Some people prefer the piece of mind of chlorinated pools, especially if you have a lot of backyard BBQ’s where your friends and family are always there. It is your choice which system you’d prefer and what would work best for you.
